The UWCT Perth is a UCI World Masters Qualifying Event. It is a series of UCI sanctioned races that are held all over the world and comprises a maximum of 15 qualifier events, leading to the UWCT Final.
The top 25% in each age group of the qualifier events will automatically have the right to comepte in the UWCT Final and race for the coveted UCI rainbow Jersey.
UWCT ROAD RACE
The Road Race course is your chance to ride free from vehicles in a true road race. Considered one of the best road race courses on offer, the Perry Lakes route continues to surprise and impress every rider who gives the UWCT Perth Road Race a go. The start will take place at 10:30am and the timekeeping will be open until 1:30pm. Timekeeping will provide an overall final ranking, a ranking for women and another for men.
UWCT Perth is a rare cycling opportunity and a true test of endurance and cycling skill. With roughly 100kms to ride this event is a standout for cyclists of all abilities who are eager to challenge themselves and be part of a very special race.
UWCT TIME TRIAL
This is THE Time Trial Event of the cycling calendar. Once again it will be held at one of Western Australia's most picturesque and iconic destinations, Rottnest Island. With stunning views, pristine beaches, turquoise water and just a quick 30 minute ferry ride from Perth, Rottnest Island is a little piece of paradise. The individual Time Trial takes in a 20km circumnavigation of the Island followed by a celebration lunch and presentations.
Long considered a local treasure and a favourite holiday destination for the locals, the chance to visit the island and ride one of the best Time Trial Courses in the world is not to be missed!
